1. appendage [ə'pendidʒ]
定义: (1) something joined on to a larger or more important body or thing; (2) a subordinate body part, such as an arm or a leg
例句: Wives complain justifiably when they are treated by others as mere appendages of their husbands.
例句语法结构：主谓，when引导时间状语从句
